Yes, it is free. I would think 7 hrs ok. Take the metrolinea all the way to the end, and walk from there. Use maps.me to guide you.

I did see some groups in there with one person speaking but I did not pay attention to what they were doing. It is a wonderful collection. Hope you enjoy.

This museum is in a 250 year old home, so it's not like the Museo de Oro, modern and accessible. I don't remember an elevator. It's best to email the museum. They may have portable ramps.
