Hi there. We are really struggling to communicate with Green Rinjani by email. They have a great reputation and we want to book with them...but we are struggling to get answers. We need to be picked up from the Ahmed ferry when it arrives in Lombok, taken to the hotel, and start the trek the next day. After the trek we need a transfer to Gili Meno. How did other people manage to pre-book this sort of thing? Thanks

Hey Elle, No problem with that, they cater to solo but i think the price is slightly more expensive. when i went with my wife, there was a solo traveller who requested to join a small group if possible, the guide asked us if we're okay and she joined us as a group of 3 in the end. Maybe you can do the request too and your guide will slot you into a small group. Having more friends in a grueling climb like this is much better than climbing solo in my opinion.

My boyfriend and me will be in Lombok around 23 February, but every Tracking center where I wrote email told me that Rinjani tour is not possible till 1 April because of the rain season. They told me the Rinjani park is closed during the winter How is it possible that people on Trip advisor visit Rinjani during this time ? Thank you in advance

You are right in thinking it's not possible from now until April - they close it down for the next few months in an attempt to restore the eco-system, apparently. And doing it in the rain wouldn't be fun! All the best, hope you enjoy your stay :)
