We will arrive in Gwalior Airport at 3.30 pm - we wish to cover Jai Vilas Palace same day going straight to museum from airport - is it feasible ? How much time required to reach the palace from airport and upto what time it remains open ?

Since you are running on tight schedule you have to rush things. Probably you will get around 45 - 50 minutes to visit museum. Normally it takes around 2 hours to visit this place fully.
