This is my third tour of La Rioja with Inma from Rioja Wine Trips and there is a simple reason I keep coming back - this is an excellent guide, with exceptional knowledge of wine and the region, who … W5896QVjeffl的完整评论

Inma took us on a full day wine tour in Rioja. We visited very small, under-the-radar, family run wineries that are making great wine. Inma is extremely knowledgable about the entire process of grape… David D的完整评论

Amazing! Inma was above and beyond. She is a wine expert and took Us to 2 great family wineries. We were treated like family! Highly recommend! B458MYgeorgea的完整评论
We are planning to rent a car during our trip and would like to drive ourselves from San Sebastián to Logrono and back to avoid the cost of the private transportation. Has anyone else done this? We are flexible with timing and could stay in the area for dinner if needed but we both want to partake in wine tasting. Just want to get a feel from others if this might be doable.

You could do that - 2 hours each way - but the driver on the return journey could not do any wine tasting or drinking. We do Rioja every year and have usually stayed in Logroño for the days we are in the bodegas. This year we based in Bilbao for other reasons and took the bus to Logroño. Makes for a long day. Best to base in Logroño.
Hi everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me out. myself and wife and our friends are looking at visiting Rioja next year. 2 of us are massive fans of the wine (our wives tolerate us loving this) and we were wondering where the best place would be to stay, and also is the wine expensive? and lastly do you all have any recommendations where to visit....any help would be much appreciated. thank you.

We are frequent visitors to Rioja for many years. Fave spots to stay are Logroño, Haro, and LaGuardia. Easy to do vineyard visits from any of these. The 'big three' are next door to each other, a short walk from hotel in Haro: Lopez de Heredia, Muga, CVNE. Logroño offers huge selection of wines in the bars/restaurants in the centre. Hospederia in LaGuardia is a special hotel and wine bar. We gave up driving ourselves to vineyards because of lower alcohol limits some years ago. Hire a driver or use a local guide. (Imma at Rioja Wine Trips is especially good!)

Hi Barb, TripAdvisor is stopping me using HTML characters. The company we used is Rioja Wine Trips whose website you can find through Google. This also contains their email address. They will respond promptly. I highly recommend them to you. Please note this is a different company to Rioja Wine Tours.
We will pick you up and go to a vineyard to explain everything you always wanted to know about Rioja wines. You will enjoy 3 tastings at 3 different wineries...
