WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The energy at Bowman Gray Stadium was electric Saturday night. For the first time in 54 years, NASCAR came roaring back to Winston-Salem, and fans couldn't get enough.

NASCAR racing returns to the “Madhouse” on Sunday night. Bowman Gray Stadium, the longest-running weekly track in racing history, is the site for the Cup Series’ preseason Clash on Sunday night.

When it was all over on Sunday night, fans left Winston-Salem's Bowman Gray Stadium having seen something that hadn't happened in nearly 54 years: a NASCAR Cup Series event at the historic venue.
