Western Railway has begun reconstructing the bridge over the Mithi River between Bandra and Mahim, replacing the 135-year-old screw-pile foundation with a reinforced cement concrete structure.

As the project moves forward, residents and businesses will be provided additional notifications in advance of bridge foundation work – pile driving – and work that restricts driveway access.
