WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Country music legend Dwight Yoakam will be the headliner for the Lights Over Waco Festival, which wraps up the downtown Live from Waco weekend festivities on April 5-7.

Dwight Yoakam reaches the Bluegrass Albums chart with his new set, Brighter Days. The project opens at No. 21 on the 25-spot, genre-specific ranking, and it’s a notable win for the musician.

Dwight Yoakam spent his formative years acting in theater productions and singing and playing guitar in local garage bands. In 1978, after a brief stint in Nashville, Yoakam relocated to Los Angeles.
