On July 13, 1984, the third Muppets movie called The Muppets Take ... Joan Rivers also makes a cameo in the film as a worker at Bergdorf Goodman’s perfume counter with Miss Piggy.

Back in 2022, their song, "Right Where I Belong," from the 1984 film The Muppets Take Manhattan, was pulled by Expedia Group and Wieden+Kennedy for vacation-rental site Vrbo's Super Bowl pregame ad.
