The Oregon Ducks kicked off the final road trip of its season with a key win, narrowly defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City, 80-78. After leading by as many as 10, the Ducks allowed the Hawkeyes to field a comeback and trailed with less than three minutes to play.

After an ugly loss to Maryland on Sunday, Iowa basketball (14-12, 5-10 Big Ten) was looking to rebound with a win against Oregon (19-8, 8-8 Big Ten) on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, Iowa came up just short after a would-be game-winning 3-pointer by junior guard Josh Dix was blocked by Ducks' center Nate Bittle as time expired to lose 80-78 on Wednesday night from Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
