Cherbourg-Octeville (France), July 13 (ANI): France on Friday launched the first nuclear attack submarine of the Barracuda-Class named ‘Suffren’ at the Naval Group facility in Cherbourg-Octeville.

As well as equipping Le Triomphant-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines, Rubis-class SSNs, and new Suffren-class SSNs, the weapon will also arm the future SNLE 3G deterrent submarines.
