The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced 14 bands and artists who are nominated for consideration into the Hall of Fame.

This year, the Detroit duo has been nominated alongside other huge names -- including Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, Outkast, Oasis, Cyndi Lauper and Soundgarden.
