The sound team behind James Mangold's Bob Dylan movie talks about the challenges of recording everything live and how different sound environments convey Dylan's relationship with his audience.

“You could structure a screenplay along the lines of what Peter Shaffer did with “Amadeus,’” Mangold told the Book Review editor Gilbert Cruz. “I don’t really know what I learned about Mozart watching “Amadeus.” But I do know that I learned a lot about how we mortals feel about people with immense talent.”

A Complete Unknown” will become available to watch from home later this month. The Bob Dylan biopic will release on digital platforms, such as Prime Video and Apple TV, on Feb. 25. It will then release on 4K UHD Blu-ray and HD Blu-ray on Apr.
