All humans go through the same life cycle. They are small at the start of their life. Over time they grow bigger and their bodies change. When they are grown up, they might have children of their own.

The life cycle starts again ... If this caterpillar was a human baby, within a month it would be the size of a bus! Which is one big baby. But all this eating is for a very good reason.
