Shrek 5 is being released to coincide with DreamWorks' 25th anniversary, with Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz all set to reprise their respective roles as Shrek, Donkey and Fiona.

The Barron Park Donkey Project in the San Francisco Bay Area says Perry was euthanized on Jan. 2 after his health worsened. Perry was well known at the park for his link to the 2001 “Shrek” movie.
