Xbox console repairs generally aren’t something most owners can do on their own and while there are options out there for a fix, now there’s going to be one more. Today, Microsoft officially announced that it’s partnering with uBreakiFix to handle console repairs.

Outlet VGC has shared the latest 2024 gaming sales data for mainland Europe, and one segment fully focuses on hardware. In comparison to 2023, PS5 console sales were down 20%, Switch sales were down 15%, and Xbox Series X|S sales were down a whopping 48% when stacking 2024 up against the year prior.

Xbox exec Jason Ronald was recently named the 'VP of next-generation' over at Microsoft, with the Xbox Series X|S architect now spearheading the team's next-gen console plans. Given his new job title, then, it's probably good news that Ronald seems to think that Xbox consoles are here to stay.
