Barack Obama has the highest favorability rating among all living presidents and Joe Biden has the lowest, according to a new Gallup poll released Tuesday. The results of a Gallup survey conducted the week following President Donald Trump’s inauguration found Obama ranked highest in favorability with 59 percent and Biden lowest with 39 percent.

Both are in negative territory. But it’s better to be Trump than Biden. Trump has a 48% to 50% for a negative two percentage points, compared to Biden’s negative 18 points (39% to 57%). Otherwise, it’s George W. Bush 52% to 34% favorable/unfavorable (+18) and Bill Clinton 48% to 41% (+7).

But just one member of the world’s most exclusive club is liked by a plurality of both Republicans and Democrats: Bush. The poll — which sampled 1,001 U.S. adults between Jan. 21 and Jan. 27 — found opinions toward the men have fluctuated significantly over time.
