A dead whale has washed up on the beach at Fort Morgan on the Alabama coast. The Dauphin Island Sea Lab confirmed a sperm whale carcass washed up along the shore in Fort Morgan, WKRG-TV reported.
"Our biggest goal is to get it out of the water ... miles off of shore and they prefer deeper water. "Our most recent sperm whale stranding in Alabama was in 2020," Russel said.
