INDIANAPOLIS — IFD is being praised after saving a dog that fell through a frozen pond Sunday afternoon on Indy's far east side. According to a social media post from the department, just after 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2, crews responded to the 11800 block of Hartland Drive, near North Cumberland Road and 10th Street.
