London’s biggest bus company, Go-Ahead, has already ordered 1,000 more electric buses for the capital, and a load of those are set to come into service from Orpington Garage from early 2025.

The fleet of 20 buses are being recharged by pantographs at each end of the 15-mile route 358 in the south-east of the capital.
