OREBRO, Sweden (Reuters) - Swedish police found three rifles in the adult education centre in Orebro where a gunman killed 11 people and wounded several others this week in the country's deadliest mass shooting, a spokesperson said on Thursday.

OREBRO, Sweden (Reuters) -Swedish police said on Wednesday there was no evidence of "ideological motives" behind a mass shooting at an adult education centre on Tuesday, and warned of misinformation spread on social media about the Nordic country's deadliest gun attack.

Police said “around 10 people” were killed in a shooting at a school in central Sweden on Tuesday, with the suspected perpetrator believed to be among those dead.

Sweden's right-wing government said on Friday it would seek to tighten gun laws in the wake of the country's deadliest mass shooting at an adult education centre where the attacker appeared to have used several of his own licensed rifles.

All of the victims lived in Orebro, but so far authorities have declined to share their identities or any other details about them. Police also confirmed on Friday that the suspected gunman was a 35-year-old man from the area.
