Concerning Landolphia sp as suggested by Gouralata, I looked for photos of brown fleshed fruits but the closest I got was this lovely drawing of one species. Is that brown enough to call brown do you think? Do you know the species that are brown fleshed?

2024年12月15日 · Since then, both are in separate pots, which have acidic soil and fertilizer, as recommended by Frank. As can be seen in the pics though, the plant on the Left-side is flourishing with new growth etc but the one on the Right-side has no new growth and all the leaves are turning brown at the distal 1/3rd to 1/2 or so.

2017年1月3日 · When I eat the reddish brown ones I practically gag. The tree is probably 15 foot tall and 20 foot wide. One side produces more fruit. Last year I watered heavy and the fruit turned brown prematurely and I lost most of the fruit. It is the most maintenance free tree I have except for the pruning to try to manage it.

2013年9月15日 · A fruit often splits because it gets too much water and the skin can only expand so much. The longer you leave a fruit to ripen will also likely split. Some varieties are more prone to split as well. How long do you leave the fruit after it fully flushes red? As for soft brown spots, it is likely bacterial or fungal in nature.
