Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and some sliced mushrooms to pot when you saute the onions and celery. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin. Start with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and check near end of cooking for taste. Cook with cover off after 15 minutes for thicker stew. I use this recipe with my changes with 1 lb of ground turkey.
