Additionally, does anyone know how it would work in regards to applying to agencies if that was the case? I am from MA (Malden) and own a home in Saugus. I am prior law enforcement (TX) and my Peace Officer license is valid.

2006年11月4日 · As far as people who say civil service sucks: Once you are on in a civil service town, civil service is a great protection that we cannot afford to lose. No offense to the chiefs out there, but most of them are not civil service and they have very little protection if the town or city has them in a tight contract.

I can't think of which ones do off the top of my head, nor do I know whether or not the reserves in those PDs are actually considered civil service, or if the departments simply utilize the CS list ...
