2009年1月24日 · OK,,, I probably know the answer to this one. But I love Pecans....and live in NW Oregon. Summers are pretty warm but up here in the hills, we do get snow off and on during the winter.

For a chocolate pecan pie, or a chocolate pecan bourbon pecan pie, I often find it as a choice between making it more caramely or more chocolatey. For a more caramely flavor, Toll House chocolate chips are best. Otherwise a chocolate mixture is better.

2020年11月24日 · Southern Pecan Pie: Beat 3 eggs thoroughly with 2/3 cup sugar, dash salt, 1 cup dark corn syrup, and 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted. Add 1 cup pecan halves. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pastry shell. Bake in moderate oven (350 F) 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.

2023年12月25日 · I don't know why this doesn't come up in searches, but here is the closest I have found to tasting like the Entemann's Pecan Danish Ring: Entemann's Danish Ring. The current recipes that come up during the search are all too "bread-y" IMHO or ask you to do layers - this is the best I have found.

2014年1月25日 · In between, if it were me, I'd toss your pecan sugar stuff into a food processor and make it into heavenly 'sand' which could then be added to many items - coffee cake toppings, dusted on ice cream, even stirred into bread dough similar to cinnamon rolls. Rats, now I'm thinking about how to make pralines and get it wrong on purpose. lol
