Sakura definitely has much higher reserves in Shippuden, especially towards the tail end of the show. She has no issue with having a physically strong body since we've seen what she can do. I don't know if it's enough for Sage Mode though. Orochimaru could do Sage Mode because his body wasn't physically strong enough. So let that sink in.

Sage mode is a technique that can’t be self taught as human generally can’t even sense nature energy let alone control. Just look at the oil waterfall in Mount myoboku which allows you sense nature energy more easily.
