2015年11月25日 · Vox's are awesome. But a Vox always sounds like a Vox and that sound isn't suited for everything. Especially if your going to do some harder rock or metal. It's also pickier with pedals. Again, awesome amps. But they are what they are totally and I don't think they're as flexible as a JTM would be.

2006年12月2日 · DC 30 is very similar to an AC30 (though it has a PPIMV and a Tone rotary dial). Spitfire is similar to the AC15. Heck most Matchless if not all share the Vox/AC style Phase Inverter values (even the non-EL84 powered ones, plus some do or don't have the Vox post PI Cut control) and cathode biased EL84 power section setup.

2020年9月15日 · I have a Fender Mustang GTX100, a Line 6 POD HD300 and a Vox Tonelab (desktop unit). Wondering if there's a modeler better than the Tonelab, as the GTX100 doesn't sound much like a Vox. Don't really want to lug the POD around, and it doesn't sound better than the Tonelab to my ears on AC30 emulation.

2014年7月25日 · Tubes make a world of difference in AC30. If your budget allows it, go with NOS at least in V1. Never really bonded with the Tung Sols and Telefunkens usualy work well, depending on the setup.
