2004年7月8日 · Recently I made a bathroom vanity with two 22.5 degree angles connecting the sides to the front. I had problems clamping the edges even using a band clamp.Does anybody have a good method of clamping these angles so you get a good solid glue joint. I also used biscuits to align the edges but they did not help in creating a tight joint.

2022年7月28日 · I’m fairly new to woodworking. I need to make a 22.5-degree bevel cut down the length of a 4×4 post. My table saw blade is not tall enough when it’s at 22.5 to make it in one cut. I do not have access to a bandsaw. Is my best option to make the angle cut as deep as I can and then finish it off with a hand saw?

Lay the molding flat on the saw table and use the bevel angle from the chart and the mark on the saw indicator (1:57 sec in) This video shows how: If you are still stumped, make a plan view drawing of the 45 degree corner. Then bisect the angle for your 22.5 miter cuts. Take a 2 X 4 and make those miter cuts. Then stand it up on the drawing.

2001年8月22日 · Found a couple of tricks that really helped out:1. left the miter a bit long, and finish the miter with a 2-degree sanding disc on the RA saw. This disc, when canted 2-degrees, sands in a straight line, like the edge of a very large sanding drum, resulting in a very straight sanding line. Set the RA for the correct angle, and work up to the line.

Same thing on the table saw, a miter gauge set to 30 degrees will result in a 60 degree cut angle on the piece. Same as the miter saw, 90 minus 30 = 60.

2012年3月15日 · I know that a 5/12 angle on the square is 22.5 degrees. 6.5/11 is not the same aspect ratio and would be a different angle. If memory serves me, seems like stair stringers are usually about a 37 degree angle or so. There are whole books written on how to use a framing square. An amazing tool if one takes the time to learn how to use one. Bret
