A350-1000 versus B777-300ER - Airliners.net
Oct 16, 2020 · The A350-1000 isn't selling as its per-seat economics are not materially better than the A350-900's. Multiple analysts have claimed the -1000 yields a 2-3% operating cost advantage per seat. That is simply not enough of a advantage. For most airlines/networks, it's better to take the 10 A359's rather than 8 A35K's for the same $1.5B USD investment.
A350-1000 fuel burn - Airliners.net
Dec 4, 2019 · So the A350-1000 is pretty much 77W size but with a 777-200 fuel burn. The 77W burns roughly a tonne more than the 772 per hour so the A350-1000 is roughly a tonne per hour better than the 77W, so over an 8 hour flight, 8 tonnes is about $4,000-5,000 worth of fuel savings. Not bad, but not the huge leap that the 787-9 has over the 772.

JAL teases A350-1000 introduction - Airliners.net
Feb 1, 2023 · The domestic A359 is a nice plane but the long haul needs more than just the A350-1000 sized airplane. Maybe I'm speculating it will probably fill a gap between the B789 and A351 (No First Class), which probably will have more than 239 seats (Highest capacity in JL B789), will be between 250-275 seats in a three-class layout (Business, Premium ...
DL orders 20 A350-1000 - Airliners.net
Jan 9, 2024 · The Reuters article is interesting in that it speculates about a wide body order and that the order will specifically include the 35K. The wording is odd - Airbus (AIR.PA) is nearing an order from Delta Air Lines (DAL.N) for dozens of wide-body jets including extra A350-1000 aircraft, industry sources told Reuters.
Differences Between A350-900 And A350-1000 - Airliners.net
Dec 2, 2015 · The A350-1000 comes with optimizations. The slide below shows the primary changes versus the -900 model. Most of these changes should find their way into the A350-900. I also want to point out that introducing optimizations is pretty common in aviation. To give two examples: the 787-9
B777-300ER Vs. A350-1000: Boeing's View - Airliners.net
Nov 30, 2007 · I think Boeing is thinking it's a bit of snake oil. And considering nobody has signed on but EK and QR for the A350-1000, two airlines who placed huge hubris orders, despite 400 overall commitments for the A350XWB program, maybe Boeing isn't the only one who is a little leery of the A350-1000 reality v. marketing hype...
Airbus Reveals A350-1000 OEW - Airliners.net
Nov 3, 2011 · A350-1000 revised MTOW 308t MZFW 220t Now if one adds a MSP of 67t gleaned from the chart to that one get the OEW at 153t. The MZFW went up 1,5t (218,5t to 220t) with the same MSP for the old and the new version so it cost them 1,5t to raise the MTOW from 298t to 308t. This is plausible as most of that MTOW increase was fuel (8,5t of the 10t hike).

A350-1000 take-off weight hiked to 322t - Airliners.net
Oct 25, 2023 · I think Emirates would probably fitted 10-abreast on A350 instead of asking for a stretch. Many of their Europe/Asia network are pretty short distance away. Stretching A350-1000 doesn't provide much fuel savings compared to cramming more seats per row.
