I have a 2005 Acura RL which I am planning to ship to Europe for a few months I am told that the navigation system will not work even if you put the European maps dics in it. That's weird because I know Europe uses the same GPS system and ACura RL exists in Europe under Honda Legend badge and it is an identical car .

My 1999 Acura RL (3.5L) recently had a used engine swap and upon reassembly the car developed a gear grinding noise that sort of came and went. It definitely changed with the rotational speed of the car and not the engine RPM. In fact, it even happened when the car was put in neutral when rolling.

I just upgrade my beloved 2004 6 spd TL for an acura RL with tech package. What a car! It preserves all of the TL's dynamics, except for the furious acceleration (the RL is fast but not furious) while providing probably the most comfortable, quiet and refined ride in the industry.

Bought new 2006 Acura RL end of 2006. Gas mileage on the car was horrible from the day I bought it. City driving was 14.5 mpg if lucky. Highway wasn't too bad when on cruise control....up to 25 mpg. But in the summer or in the cold winter, city mpg goes to 14 and highway to 23mpg. This year, Acura came out with a Technical Bulletin on the Acura RL.
