2013年9月24日 · For Alaska, I like late May, all of June, all of July, and early to mid August because of better weather, more daylight, and more animal sightings in general. (Based on my personal experience and preferences only. YMMV.) Fares are less expensive before the end of June, generally speaking.

Alaska cruise in early May - Good idea?
2021年6月6日 · I worked on cruise ships many years ago, and did two full seasons in Alaska. I would pick May over September. Alaska’s weather is unpredictable but generally May is drier than September. 2025年1月3日 · As a hobby photographer, I have been to Alaska many times, almost exclusively in May. As noted above, there is still snow on the peaks, a chill each morning, less rain than other months, humpback whale calves are very active, hotel and plane fares are low, glacier ice flows have harbor seal calves, eagles are searching for food before the salmon runs begin, and …
May or September? - Alaska - Cruise Critic Community
2018年9月4日 · May is early for any major salmon runs; most runs will still be in the ocean; however in Southeast Alaska, there might be some early runs that can be witnessed, but you'll need to be lucky. In September most will be finished, but there will still be some good fishing for silver salmon in parts of the state, for example the Kenai River drainage.
Alaska in May?? too Cold?? - Cruise Critic
2007年9月14日 · We have done two Alaska cruises - both May 22-29 and each time we enjoyed our balcony. We are cruising again next year (May 30-June 6th) and hope to enjoy our balcony once again. During our last cruise we even saw a man shirtless on the balcony directly below and adjacent to ours (one of those uncovered balconies).
