2017年3月4日 · The lease on my '15 Macan S is coming due. I just test drove the BMW X4 M40i. It seemed about the same size, felt a little bit quicker, handled well. Pricing is very close although I believe the lease numbers will be better on the BMW. The one thing I didn't like was the small sunroof. The panoramic roof in the Macan is much nicer.

Since the brand new ‘22 Macan S are so extremely scarce, I asked a Porsche salesman to arrange finding a used Macan S or GTS to test drive.

Given Porsche’s long list of piecemeal options, I usually read here that in the U.S. a Macan S averages around $80K versus a similarly equipped X3 M40i around $65K. If so, that’s a pretty significant difference in the entry ticket to make some people think twice about the Macan S.

2018年7月3日 · Before I bought my 2018 Porsche Macan GTS, I test drove the BMW X3 M40i, Jaguar F-Pace S, and Mercedes-Benz GLC C43...the Macan beat them all in the driver's category and looks dept. for me, with the F-Pace S coming in second. And I thought the Macan tied the Mercedes for 1st place when it came to the interior.

2017年6月19日 · X3 M40i test drive. Got to drive the new X3 M40i and have some comments. Engine is a beast and it’s as least as fast as the GTS, may even beat it in a drag. Transmission felt very good , almost felt like a DCT on hard acceleration. No good twisty stuff to drive on in town but handling felt just ok, steering felt very numb.

2018年6月22日 · A friend just took delivery of his X3 M40i two weeks ago. He loves it, and I think from the specs it probably is noticeably faster 0-60 than a Macan S, but having owned the Macan for 2.5 years, and seeing what BMW is doing with quality of materials, I don’t think I’d cross shop those two cars. I’ll be ordering a new Macan this fall.
