2022年4月17日 · I installed the Borgeson power steering box a couple of years ago. I had two fires from the original Ford slave when it leaked oil onto the rubber sleeve and then the heat from the headers would set it on fire. I also installed tilt steering earlier. Had to cut 2" off the steering column, because the Borgeson steering box is longer.

2011年11月25日 · Borgeson Power Steering Had a shop install early version of Borgeson conversion in my '65 fastback. Then had to have another shop sort it out and get it right. Then after a couple of years, the Saginaw pump developed a leak so I replaced it. This created major heat problem in the new pump - like close to 300 degrees.

2021年4月15日 · I am looking into adding electric steering to my 1967 Mustang, and of course a quick search shows the full kit you can buy for $1400 (cutting your existing column) This looks like a nice kit, and seems to have good directions as far as to exactly there to cut the column, etc. But, the $1400 price tag is a bit hard to swallow.
