  1. Yamaha 4 stroke vs evinrude E-tec - iboats Boating Forums

2007年7月30日 · Re: Yamaha 4 stroke vs evinrude E-tec I also have a 16' Sea Nymph. considered the 60hp Yamaha summer of '04 (hadn't heard of the E-tec till I went to the marinas) but bought the E-tec due to lower idle rpm, direct fuel injected vs carbs, (Yammy's may be dfi at this hp now), and 7 yr warranty vs 3yr. I have had zero regrets and would buy it again.

  2. Evinrude E-Tec? Pros/cons - iboats Boating Forums

2007年3月24日 · Re: Evinrude E-Tec? Pros/cons i changed my 115 hp 4stroke mariner for a 115hp 2stroke e-tec evinrude so far i think i made a good choice. the same fuel cosumption as the 4stroke, and if you take changing the sump oil into consideration, i dont think the 2stroke will burn mutch more oil. and a lot less parts to go wrong.

  3. Evinrude E-Tec Oil | Boating Forum - iboats Boating Forums

I just purchased a 2007 75 hp E-Tec. The dealer recommends to put in the Evinrude XD-50 oil. This oil cost $27.00 a gallon. I see that it is rated TCW-3. I noticed that Pennzoil Premium Plus at Walmart is also rated TCW-3. I can get it for $12.00 a gallon. Is the dealer oil any better or will...

  5. E-Tec engine reliability? - iboats Boating Forums

2012年2月14日 · Re: E-Tec engine reliability? e-TEC motors do not differ much in the cooling system from the motor you are running now. If the current motor sucks in sand/much, the e-TEC will also. I for one, would much rather cook a cheap motor than an expensive one. I do not think e-TEC is the answer you are looking for...maybe an airboat?

  6. Evinrude e-tec 90 hp prop selection - iboats Boating Forums

2008年1月4日 · Re: Evinrude e-tec 90 hp prop selection Your expectations of getting this right the first time are rather slim. Without a base-line to work with, you can only hope for "close" or "lucky". The proper prop is one that allows the engine to run at the high end of the manufacturers wide open throttle RPM with what you consider an average load.
