tl;dr I did the calculations, and at AR 50, when spending full-resin, the value of doing weekly bosses versus artifact domains is like getting the same number of 5/4/3* artifacts and then spending 300 resin on top with the expectation of receiving 100 gem slivers, 20 weekly boss materials, 2.5 dream solvents, and 1 random Northlander billet.

2021年9月8日 · With the addition of a new weekly boss we are now at 5 weekly bosses. Because of the cost reduction only working on 3 bosses leaves us at 210 resin to just do the bosses. I am wondering if they are still worth it, just for the chance of prototypes, gladiator/wanderer artifacts and those new materials that let you convert boss materials.

You can farm, but you get only three tries total, and that limit is shared among the weekly-class bosses. But HSR weekly bosses don’t have exclusive items outside of their character drops. Genshin’s weekly bosses are our only farmable source of Dream Solvent and weapon billets. The three-try system would be bad.

2021年5月31日 · Agreed. Running 3x Weekly bosses was 180 resin so even now running all 4 is only 150 resin. The only argument I could see is if you don't need any of the boss materials and even then I'm sure Mihoyo will find a way to keep these materials relevant. In the end, are 3 domain or leyline runs worth more to you than a single weekly boss run?
