So I think Rusty himself made the decision to end the role, whether there is any truth or not to the story about having to move away. Perhaps he wanted to go to high school and be normal, as much as he could be.

Love the casting of the show. Don't get me wrong. But what if Rusty Stevens and Ken Osmond got the parts of Beaver & Wally? Richard Deacon got the part of Ward Cleaver? Jeri Weil got the part of a female Cleaver family member? As secondary cast they have to be "on" to liven things up. But as Cleavers they'd tone down their spiel quite a bit.

Does anyone know anything about Jeri Weil, who played Beaver's classmate, Judy Hensley. We would love to see a picture of her these days!!!
