When I substitute fresh pineapple in a recipe that calls for canned, I cook it for 10 minutes in a cup or two of pineapple juice and/or light syrup. I use about 1/2 cup sugar to 1 cup water or juice. This comes very close to canned, if that's what you're looking for.

2009年2月14日 · We are concerned that the filling called for in the Dreamcicle Cake recipe will make the cake goopy if it sits overnite. Filling consists of crushed pineapple, sour cream, sugar and coconut. Any ideas? Suggestions? We made a batch of filling and it looks watery.
