2010年10月4日 · When doing stuff live, then side-chain compression has more value if it has to control dynamic response output. But i suspect audio routing is a necessary evil in Renoise to be capable of creating a native side-chain device. The signal Follower does have a lot of other useful purposes besides sidechain. 2024年10月12日 · I have cut up a folk song into sections to sample in a track and I want to place markers to trigger the sample at certain words/ sentences but I add markers and the I can’t trigger anything nothing plays. When I use autoslice it makes 100’s of markers (and the keys work for some and trigger tiny snippets of audio) I tried just deleting loads and moving what was left …

2024年12月17日 · I would love to do something similar. I play a sampled piano in Renoise live for recordings. I use a studiologic piano. I even sometimes record 1 hour continuous of free composition. It would be very interesting to relocate the notes on different tracks to generate 5.1 sound and then export the tracks and render them in Audacity or Cakewalk.

2014年4月3日 · I suppose the chopping of the breaks is fine in Renoise. Sometimes its less than 1/256 (01-ff) of the 16th, is that even a noticeable amount? Sometimes the hits appear bang on the 16th. That’s good advice with the envelope and amp. It’s just I want to capture the groove. It can be done a lot better & easier in Ableton.

2024年12月24日 · In addition, Renoise looks like a tracker targeting to the “professional” audience, judging by the mixer, vst support and scripting, so I don’t see how Renoise should be a tracker that forces you to learn sampling. If I need a tracker that focus on sample but not the vst plugin, I keep on using SunVox instead and wouldn’t bought Renoise ...
