Anyone use TCP Global Restoration Shop paint? | The H.A.M.B.
2013年3月5日 · I used the Restoration Shop Acrylic Urethane single stage on my sons daily driver.. I thought it was good quality for the price and easy to spray,,big on gloss and durability,, $125.00 to paint a truck red! and looked great 3 years down the road when he sold it..the paint looked great up close!

2017年10月15日 · Restoration shop was 170 bucks for single stage Acrylic Urethane. The urethane is a step up from the enamel, and vastly superior to what IH painted these rigs with. So, it's good enough for me. Restoration shop has some very good reviews, some of the other paints had mixed reviews.

2022年6月29日 · If people are having trouble with paint, in my experience anyways, it almost always an issue with prep, air pressure, spray pattern, travel speed, and a host of other operator errors. Trust me, I have already made all of them. I have seen guys that can lay a near concourse quality paint job with a purple gun from HF ($9.95/w coupon).

2011年12月27日 · As pointed out, following the paint instruction is key. I used the restoration Acrylic on my 31 Chevy Rest and its pretty easy to work with. I thought it would be very runny based on how this paint mixed. I am sure the Urethane may be slightly different on mix ratios.

All have worked but I guess they should when you use them by the tech sheets. a pro shop a friend has uses SPI products. High end paint jobs. Loves the products.

2013年3月5日 · Used TCP restoration shop flattened black urethane, shot the bottom of my car with it, over UPOL gravitex. Paint shot well, covered well, no feedback yet on how it holds up, the car is still apart. I'll be using more of it, I'm sticking to urethane. This car is getting base clear shot by a pro. Next car is getting single stage urethane shot by me.

2013年4月24日 · Went to my local paint store (Finishmasters) and inquired about PPG laquer and was told it was available, but at almost $500 a gallon. Went with restoration and was very happy. Gallon of color, gallon of thinner, handfull of stix and strainers for a little over a hundred. Was concerned about the paint quality and pigment amount.

2015年3月11日 · I bought PPG most of my life, but at $400+ a gallon I am done with them. That is just crazy. Omni doesn't cover very good so that is out also. I am looking for a dark blue metallic, if that matters, base coat, clear coat. There must be someone on the web that sells good automotive paint at a reasonable price.
