2023年8月29日 · There are no plastic splash guards for it, and the mud flaps look kinda huge. While the mud flaps would protect in the winter when they cinder the roads, I feel like they'd be a liability when backing into my driveway late at night over the wind row of snow and tracking backwards in reverse down the driveway in the snow.

When we purchased our CTW, it did not have anything, and the wife preferred the shorter splash guards over the mud flaps (which I agree look better on the this particular vehicle). So when I did my research in ordering, I ASSUMED mud flaps was the appropriate name.

2018年5月13日 · I usually get Rally Armor Mud flaps but when we got our new Forester, I saw the larger style Mud flaps were available VS the Splash Guards. Honestly I'm not sure splash guards do much at all. The Forester ones look just like the Crosstrek ones. I really liked he OEM ones .

2018年11月4日 · Here ya go. These are 1.5" shorter than the standard flaps. Before I put these on, when I had the factory splash guards, the sides of the car would be covered in road crud after driving in the rain. These have nearly eliminated that problem. And, of course, they are handy on Forest Service Roads where you'll be kicking up some gravel.

2014年12月16日 · I too have installed the Gorilla splash guards, and they are certainly built tough. My primary reason for installing them was actually for desert use. The chances of this XV seeing snow are VERY low. I think the stock splash guard is simply a cosmetic choice when installing aftermarket splash guards. If you like the look, go for it!

Installation requires drilling, BUT it can be accomplished with no drill- only the drill bit is necessary because the holes (1 for each flap) are drilled into very soft plastic.
