Swiss Army Knives - BladeForums.com
2014年6月23日 · As others have said, what Swiss army knife is the right one is really an individual thing based on your needs and preferences. My personal most carried SAK is the Ranger, but it's a 5 layer and thicker than many want to carry. I had been carrying an explorer plus for the most part, but kept running across the need for a file.

2 layer 84 vs 91mm | BladeForums.com
2017年12月2日 · My very first Swiss Army Knife was a Victorinox Small Tinker. I carried that knife almost exclusively for around 28 years before I started buying others. I’m not sure if that’s why I’m throwing this out there, or I’ve been able to draw a conclusion. When it comes to a 2 layered SAK, I prefer the 84 over the 91mm knives.
Wenger vs Victorinox - BladeForums.com
2000年12月19日 · On non-lock models, Victorinox reamer (or awl, hole punch, etc) is much better than wenger. Also, Victorinox blades are slightly thicker in equivalent models. Both are 'official" Swiss Army Knives but represent "politic" loyalty to nation's "German" ( …
Swiss army knife quality - BladeForums.com
2012年7月16日 · A local discount department store has some really nice Wenger EvoGrips and other models for only $15. The Recruit was $13 at a large home improvement chain. And the knife I use more than any other, the Victorinox Stylus, was on closeout for $5. I've bought several others models on closeout for $5 or less too.-----
Choosing between 5 different swiss army knives - BladeForums.com
2012年7月27日 · When someone expresses interest in a Swiss Army Knife, chances are what he has in mind is something like the Huntsman or similar 91mm sized models. Unless it is necessary for work or special purposes, the Fireman is nice but at 111mm, larger than the Huntsman, too big for most guys to carry around on a daily basis.
First Impressions of Swiss Army 1 / Alox Solo - BladeForums.com
2020年6月9日 · I kind of liked the looks of the Alox models - they make me think of a classed-up version of the Demo Knife (which I like the looks of, but not much else about it). I finally decided to try a couple of SAKs, with the idea that I'd use them a bit, then move them on to somebody else fairly soon. I acquired an Alox Classic, and an Alox Swiss Army 1.
Victorinox blade steels? - BladeForums.com
2018年7月8日 · The Swiss army knife steel however lacks horsepower, someone that is more obsessed with high performance cutting will be left wanting. In my experience, it's too soft, it needs frequent sharpening and goes blunt quickly in use, it's perfectly fine though for the majority, most will enjoy the ease of sharpening and resistance to chipping.
Victorinox Ranger or Victorinox Handyman? - BladeForums.com
2011年11月6日 · The Ranger is one of the models that sometimes goes with me on a hiking or camping trip and I carry the Handyman sometimes in a small Victorinox pouch on the belt. On working days I always have a Leatherman in my working bag; the Handyman its pliers are nice for light duty tasks and for medium duty tasks I have the Leatherman available.
