2017年7月20日 · SO in the end its possible the Walmart battery is the same one Costco sells, or Advanced auto depending on locations. Dont expect the high end Walmart battery to match the low end one someplace else, but its possible the $99 Walmart battery thats 800 CCA is the same as the Advanced auto one that's 800CCA for $120.

2017年7月6日 · Was told nowadays that battery warranties are no longer prorated so definitely get the best warrant/period that you can. When you receive a warranty replacement battery you retain the ORIGINAL warranty. In our case the battery was warranted for 36 months with free replacement. At this point we only have about 23 months left on the new battery.
"life-time warranty" on tool from autozone...how does it work?
2000年11月9日 · I just remember i bought an el-cheapo torque wrench from autozone a while back. i've lost the receipt long ago. it was the 'great neck' brand i think. should the thing fail and break, does anybody know how their warranty works? can i just bring in the broken tool and expect a brand new one?

2010年8月10日 · I got both the battery and alt tested. Both passed. Reinstalled on the car and it ran good surprisingly after the battery was charged @ the autostore till after about 10 minutes, then the battery meter dropped back down. Soon as i turned on the lights/ac the battery meter dripped down real low. SOon as i turned them off the meter jumped back up.

The hate is for the ergonomics of the seats and small failure points like door gasket, battery cable. The True-2 batteries are hawt garbage as well, designed to devour the positive battery terminals. The noise is also an issue.

In many cases where the original battery was soldered on the manufacturer provided for generic battery replacement this way. If the pins are there it's just a matter of finding someone who still sells replacements that way - or make your own.

2000年11月26日 · If the alternator was bad, then driving to autozone and then back could be enough to drain the battery - particularly since it sat for a few days after that. For what it's worth, I have essentially zero faith in autozone/advance/etc battery and alternator testing stations. I have seen known bad batteries and alternators test good and vice versa.

2007年1月17日 · My advice: if you have the car to even take to autozone, drive it hard first. Take it out on the interstate and stretch its legs for 15-20min to try to induce any latent problems. And contrary to what some have suggested, the check engine light doesnt ususally come on for vehicles that simply need a tuneup.
