2020年12月21日 · At the top and the bottom of the fridge the gap is much larger, almost an in at the bottom and about an 1 1/2 at the top. We use 1" grey foam pipe insulation to fill these gaps. The new fridge has a top and bottom mounting flange that does a good job of covering those gaps, but the gaps at the sides were quite visible.

2020年12月28日 · I have no issues running the fridge on DC when traveling. With the fridge switch on auto, it will auto switch to DC when the engine is running. I keep a wireless thermometer in the fridge so I can monitor the temp. Even after opening the door to make a sandwich while going down the road, the fridge holds 36-38 deg with no problems.

For dry camping or boon docking, a large 12 volt battery bank is required. Depending on how big the refer is and how much other 12 volt power is used, a 400 amp hour or more battery bank is required.
