The C4 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was first produced in 1990 and ended in 1995 after 6,939 vehicles came off the line. General Motors approached Lotus in 1986, which was part of GM then, and asked for their help developing a high-performance car to be based on the C4 Vette.

If you compare it to the highly collectible 1967 427-435 vette, you will see similar numbers. 1967 production #'s- 22940 total units/3754 units came with the optional 427-435 engine.

It looks like it has been very well looked after just from looking at Photos of the Car, his Garage is 100% in the #OCD Man Corvette Cave. He also restores and sells C3's as well. 2018年12月22日 · The LT5, ZR1 engines are damn near bullet proof, and have a remarkable record of reliability. Anything, of course, can happen but my guess is with only (only) 100k on the LT5 engine, you have something else that is noisy. So, if you have a hankering for exotic, go with the ZR1 if you like vanilla with sparkles go with the GS. Either way you win.

2002年5月2日 · The 11" ZR1 wheels will fit on all four corners on 84-87 Vettes with minor rubbing at full lock on the front swaybar. 96 Grand Sport wheels are not the same offset as the 11" ZR1 wheels. 96 Grand Sport wheels will fit 88-96 cars correctly.
