2023年1月3日 · If it were me, I'd be looking for $3,000 cars, that I can negotiate down to $2,000. Something Japanese like a Honda or Toyota or mazda, and something with a manual transmission. High mileage with the manual doesn't scare me. 200,000 miles? No big deal. Manual transmissions also have less resale value, which will help you out.

I am a musician so I would prefer the wagon or hatchback because of my instrument (double bass) or a sedan that has seats that fold almost flat.
