Are Jet Milling Machine Anygood? - Practical Machinist
Also have a 13 x 40 JET lathe. No trouble with either machine and both have made me tons of money. When you buy a machine with your own money it is treated differently than one your boss purchased. I'm the only person that runs them. They are well cared for and I don't run them hard. They are still like new condition after 5 years of daily use.

2018年2月19日 · Your xxx machine is a good starter but you will eventually find limitations with the R8 collet system. It doesn't weigh much nor is it rigid enough compared to what you might need in the future. Get a Chinese rotary table for it but just understand you may have problems with larger ones given the narrow table.

2011年7月31日 · Any mill is far better than no mill. I've seen some totally unreal projects that were built on what some people term as those round coloum mill drill useless !$&#% machines. Milling and milling accesories can get very complex depending on the exact project. I think your unmentionable for name mill will work just fine for what your doing.

What is said about Jet may also be said about Grizzly. Grizzly imports from a number of Asian sources. Their QA may be a trifle better than Jet and their prices a trifle lower.
