2022年5月3日 · Just to add to what the other commentator said about suggesting a MIDI keyboard - the big advantage with that is you can get a MIDI keyboard with great action for a lot cheaper than a stage piano with similar action. I use a MIDI keyboard for exactly what you mentioned - practicing at home and for live streams online.
Recommended affordable digital pianos/keyboards for beginners?
The current one I'm using looks like a discontinued model probably, can't find it online anywhere. And you probably shouldn't buy it. but it works pretty well for classical, minus the terrible dynamic range. It has lasted ever since I started piano 7 years ago. Try looking at this brand, although they have inconsistent speaker quality.
Anyone know of a good under-desk MIDI keyboard pull out tray?
2021年5月8日 · I installed this exact one under my desk last weekend. 14" was a bit too short, I have 11" keyboard and it sticks out about 2" when closed with a keylab61 (about 11" depth device) Also note I bought 3" metal foot furniture riser to put under desk as well because adding sliding key tray reduced height for my knees.

2023年2月13日 · Drumpads are useful and I used them a lot but any 50-100 Euro/dollar solution of external drumpads + a digital piano are way more useful then any midi keyboard with everything in one bundle. I really don’t think that everything below a good digital piano will fulfill your need for expression if you come from a real piano.

My budget is under $1k, and I probably wont use it to record, and don't need hundreds of different sounds. 2023年1月6日 · I bought some Sennheiser HD280 headphones last fall for my digital piano, they were $99 on Amazon at the time. They sound great! However, the headphone cord is wound like a spring and while it can stretch, when I’m sitting at the piano the cord would rub on my arm and get in my way. I had to add a 6’ extension cable on it so it can hang loose.
