2022年5月31日 · Mimic vs Pinion: Higher engagement, less expensive, wider Q, same weight, smaller gear range, longer warranty, uses single throw shifters I suppose I'd consider a Mimic, but Pinion is already a bit more established, so I'd probably wait a minute. The Effigear original is the answer for a full suspension if you want to skip a tensioner.

2014年8月16日 · The 18 Gear version which I have weighs in total (gearbox, cranks, sprockets, shifter, pully,) 3,2KG which is a lot. The 9 Gear version which is actually more gearde towards Enduro is about ±600g lighter. There are a couple of bikes that use the Pinion gear box with a gates belt drive. But I have only seen it on hardtail's never fully's.

2020年11月27日 · The Pinion is not exactly equivalent to something like the SRAM Eagle because it has even gear steps but the range is huge. The low gear is ultra-low and the high gear gives you plenty of speed, depending on your chainring and rear cog. I would highly recommend a Gates Carbon CDX belt drive as well.
