2022年11月10日 · Korean spice viburnum (Viburnum carlesii) is a deciduous flowering shrub with a spreading, multi-stemmed growth habit and wonderfully aromatic flowers that make this a great specimen plant for spring display. The oval leaves are dark green with serrated edges.

Korean Viburnum prefers sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil including clay. It has a rounded, irregular dense form with stiff upright branches. The blooms are showy and fragrant. It flowers on old wood so prune immediately after flowering is completed. Use as a hedge, in shrub borders or a foundation plant.

Stronger growing than other compact varieties, it's a great choice for smaller landscapes, providing all of the spicy, intoxicating spring fragrance of traditional Koreanspice viburnum in a petite package.
