Kimberley Diamond Mines

Over a century ago the Karunjie Track in the far north of Western Australia was used by drovers to move cattle across the Kimberley the south up to Wyndham for export. There’s a gate at the entrance to the track and a sign indicating the track isn’t a gazetted road. From here you’ll be passing through station properties. The track is around 50 kilometres and consists of a combination of rocks, dirt and sand, although there’s around 20 kilometres of flat-as-a-tack mudflats as well. As you follow
